III. MEMBER INPUT INTO PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE CCO’S COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS
At its upcoming meeting on Thursday April 27, the Board will be considering recommendations from the COVID Safety Committee to significantly lighten up on the CCO’s COVID safety protocols. The CCO ANNOUNCEMENTS dated April 14, 2023, contain an extensive review of the changes.
In brief, the significant changes are:
masks will be “strongly recommended” rather than mandatory, both at rehearsals and at concerts
musicians may elect to share music stands
the CCO Vaccination Policy (proof of 3 vaccinations) will be maintained, although new musicians who have 2 vaccinations will be permitted to attend two rehearsals before being required to show proof of their third vaccination.
Please review the recommendations in the April 14 Announcements, which are posted on the Musicians Only portal of the CCO website, CCOrchestra.org. If you have comments or concerns, please email emitchell1727@gmail.com before April 27.
CCO members are entitled to attend Board meetings. If you wish to attend the Zoom meeting on April 27, 7:30pm. please email emitchell1727@gmail.com and a Zoom initiation will be sent to you.
