CCO's 42nd Season (2025-2026)
Rehearsals are normally Monday nights, 7:30 to 9:30 at The 519 Community Centre unless otherwise indicated here. Musicians are expected to bring their own music and stand. Snacks are provided in rotation by section: first violins, then seconds, then viola, cello and double bass, then winds, brass and piano.
This season's dress rehearsals and concerts will be held at Eastminster United Church at 310 Danforth Ave (Chester Subway Station).
Further details about Important Dates will be in the Announcements sent to musicians, such as dates of Board meetings, CCO social events, etc.
2025
September 8 – Weekly rehearsals begin 7:30 to 9:30 at The 519 Community Centre.
October 13 – No rehearsal (Thanksgiving)
November 24 – The 519 will be closed. Check Announcements for cancellation/relocation of rehearsal.
December 5 – Dress Rehearsal at 7 pm to 10 pm (Eastminster)
December 6 – Holiday Concert at 7:30 pm (Eastminster)
2026
January 6 – Weekly rehearsals resume at The 519 Community Centre.
February 16 – No rehearsal (Family Day)
March 6 – Dress Rehearsal at 7 pm to 10 pm (Eastminster)
March 7 – Spring Concert at 7:30 pm (Eastminster)
March 9 – No rehearsal
March 16 – Weekly rehearsals resume at The 519 Community Centre.
April 6 – No rehearsal (The 519 is closed for Easter Monday)
May 18 – No rehearsal (Victoria Day)
June 5 – Dress Rehearsal at 7 pm to 10 pm (Eastminster)
June 6 – Pride Concert at 7:30 pm (Eastminster) - End of Concert Season
