BULLETIN TO CCO MUSICIANS AND MEMBERS: September 19 Rehearsal, September 20 Zoom meeting.


1. Rehearsal September 19, 2022 for September 25 Performance


The rehearsal this coming Monday is dedicated to preparing for the CCO performance at the “People, Power and the Park” Festival in Allan Gardens on Sunday, September 25, 1:00 to 4:00pm. The music is for a string orchestra, with featured performers that include wind musicians. If you are not playing, you need not attend this rehearsal.

There will be art installations, poets, a craft market, indigenous ceremony, and other special exhibits during the Festival, September 22 to 25. Check the schedule on line and please attend and say hello to our volunteers at the Community Table.



2. By-Law Review Zoom Meeting, Tuesday September 20, 7:00pm


The By-Law Review Committee of Directors Andrew Lam, Bob Bentley and Kevin Uchikata have reviewed and revised the CCO’s By-Laws. They will be put to a vote of the membership at the Annual General Meeting on October 3.


Andrew Lam will introduce the changes, and the reasons for them, with a powerpoint presentation at a Zoom meeting next Tuesday, September 20, 7:00pm. Questions are encouraged. The meeting should be only half an hour long.
