Nuit Rose:
Proudly through the night

Pride Toronto 2016 Affiliate Event

Saturday, June 25, 7 to 8pm
Room 106 at The 519

In solidarity with our Sisters and Brothers of Orlando, Counterpoint Community Orchestra will perform music during Nuit Rose from its recent season including movie and Broadway repertoire such as Sound of Music, Gabriel’s Oboe, from the Wizard of Oz: “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, Godfather Theme and many others.

Counterpoint is Toronto's LGBTTIQQ2SA symphony orchestra. It was founded 32 years ago, opening a safe, inclusive space without stigma for all musicians and our audiences. The CCO was the first such orchestra in Canada, and as a secular organization, the first internationally. We stand firmly with of all persons struggling for their human rights and with the victims and families of Orlando. Our conductor for the evening is our composer/arranger Marlon Brown.
