I REHEARSAL APRIL 14, 2025, 8:30 to 9:30pm
Music Director Andrew Chung requests that we rehearse for this Monday:

He also urges us to listen to recordings of the music we will be performing. An Audio File of the Clarinet Concerto is now available in the Musicians’ Only portal on ccorchestra.org, Sheet Music. (Apologies for last week’s incorrect reference to a Youtube recording of it). Here is our website reference to music and that recording:

II. CCO CONCERT RECORDINGS
The CCO’s regular Sound Technician, Thom Varey, has sent a link to the recording of our March concert. The link will be uploaded to our website soon:
"Here are the recordings from the last concert:
There is a folder for the larger WAVE files and another for the compressed MP3s.”
III. SURVEYS, EMAILS AND POSTING MINUTES
Members have made several suggestions to improve communications within the CCO. First, the Board is working on a Members’ Survey that will be circulated in late April; we look forward to your feedback. In addition, a “Logo and Marketing Team”, headed by Tai Chan (flute), has been meeting for a while, making plans on how to up-date and up-grade the CCO’s website presence and logo. That team, and the Board, will be seeking member input and sharing ideas, in a survey that will likely be circulated before the CCO summer break. The expectation is to have a new “look” by next season.
One suggestion was a request that the Board share email addresses for all CCO members with the membership. The Board has considered that idea and will not be changing its policy of several years standing: email addresses are each person’s personal information; personal information is protected by law. The CCO collects email addresses on its membership application forms for the use of Board communications with CCO members, and does not share or sell them. We’re a small organization - we can ask one another for email addresses.
Posting Minutes of Boad meetings - the Board used to do this and the current Board has no objections. It will take a few weeks to figure out the appropriate way to make Board Minutes available to members only.
These Announcements always invite suggestions. Please use emitchell1727@gmail.com or the general information address on our website, info@ccorchestra.org, and your suggestion will be forwarded to the right person.
