I. REHEARSAL APRIL 28, 2025

Regular rehearsals resume this coming Monday, April 28. Snacks: winds, brass and piano. (Next week, May 5, snacks by first violins.)

Six rehearsals away from the CCO’s next concert! Conductor Andrew Chung has asked us to come to the upcoming rehearsal prepared with:

  • Gladwell’s Clarinet Concerto, 3rd Movement

An Audio File of the Clarinet Concerto is now available in the Musicians’ Only portal on ccorchestra.org, Sheet Music. Performances of the Gaelic Symphony are available on YouTube. If you would like to know more about Amy Beach and the Gaelic Symphony, here is a link to Sticky Notes, a podcast by Joshua Weilerstein: Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/sticky-notes-the-classical-music-podcast/id1215386938?i=1000698034165

II.  MINUTES AND A SURVEY

This week, CCO Members will be receiving the Minutes of the Members’ Meeting held on April 7, 2025. In addition, the Survey seeking feedback from Members will be sent out, likely by Friday.

If you do not receive the Minutes or the Survey, but think your name should be on the Membership list, please speak to the Door Volunteer at the upcoming rehearsal.

There will be a few copies of the Survey available at the rehearsal from the Door Volunteer for those members can’t, or prefer not to, complete it on line. The Survey takes about 10 or 15 minutes to complete, and it’s easy to do on-line.
