CCO ANNOUNCEMENTS November 26th 2022

I. REHEARSAL NOVEMBER 28 & OPINIONS ON UNIVERSITY SETTLEMENT AS THE NEW REHEARSAL VENUE

1. A reminder, on November 28, we are rehearsing back at St. Barnabas Church, 361 Danforth Avenue.

2. The music: 8-9pm Hansel und Gretel, Soirée Musicales, Journey for Angela

9-10 Clarinet concerto, Rejoice greatly, Exsultate Jubilate

3. Discussion: Following the trial rehearsal held at University Settlement last Monday, the Board is seeking the opinions of the musicians and members on University Settlement as the CCO’s new rehearsal venue. There is a proposal to relocate from St. Barnabas to University Settlement, starting January 1, 2023.. What do you think?

II. DECEMBER 10 CONCERT

Our holiday concert is fast approaching. If you need more tickets, posters, postcards, or suggestions on how to market the event to friends and family, all are available at the rehearsal on Monday. The poster is available on the CCO website, and tickets can be purchased electronically. See CCOrchestra.org.

III. OPENINGS ON THE BOARD

We continue to have vacancies on the Board: two for Directors at large, and the Treasurer, The Treasurer should be someone with some interest and familiarity with finances, accounting, or bookkeeping, but need not be a chartered accountant.
