CCO SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT April 23rd 2023

Two quick reminders: (1) String Sectional only tomorrow night, 7:30. St. Barnabas; and (2) any comments for the Board about weakening the CCO’s COVID policy must be conveyed by this Wednesday, April 26, to emitchell1727@gmail.com. (Major proposed changes, effective May 1, 2023 if adopted: masks will be strongly recommended, not mandatory, for rehearsals and concerts; 3 vaccinations still required for musicians. Details are in the Announcements circulated on April 14 and on the CCO website.)

PLANNING FOR THE CCO’S 40TH ANNIVERSARY:

The CCO’s 40th Anniversary is in 2024. We’ll be celebrating with a concert on June 8 or 15, 2024, and hope to make that concert a memorable event. The Anniversary Committee has met, and made some foundational decisions:

1. 40th ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE CO-CHAIRS: DAVID BROWNSTONE AND TRISH TERVIT

A Committee has now been formally established to plan for the June 2024 event and communications can be directed to the 40th Anniversary Committee’s new Co -Chairs David Brownstone and Trish Tervit at davidbrownstone66@gmail.com and trishtervit12@gmail.com.

2. MEMBERS ZOOM MEETING: MAY 2, 7:30PM.

The Committee is seeking input from the members about ideas to make the anniversary concert special, and how to accomplish the identified goals. All members are invited to attend a Zoom meeting discussion on May 2, 2023, 7:30pm. Zoom invitation:
