1. Final Playing in the Park & Picnic this Sunday, Aug. 14 The final concert of the CCO’s outdoor summer season is this Sunday, August 14, weather permitting. 1 Many thanks to our Music Director and the several musicians who have performed this summer, and will perform this Sunday, and to the featured performers among our members who have made each week special, particularly Helen, Rick & Friends, Gemma, Daniel, Robert, and Chris. We have received positive feedback from a community group working on enhancing Allan Gardens, as well as many thanks from passersby who appreciate hearing music in the park as they stroll. The season organizers are satisfied with the success of the community outreach goal set for Playing in the Park. The orchestra’s featured piece, Mournet’s Rondeau, plus its music to accompany Andrew, are on the google spreadsheet and direct links are included in these Announcements.
