This announcement discusses; PIP and CCO’S IMPORTANT DATES
1. PLAYING IN THE PARK
CCO’s Playing in the Park season started off strongly last Sunday. The audience enjoyed the orchestra’s performance of Eine Kleine Nacht music, and cello duets by Daniel and Robert. Playing in the Park will continue Sunday afternoons until August 14, and is open to all instruments. This free community event gives us an opportunity to enhance CCO’s reputation, attract new audiences and new musicians, and enjoy performing outside for the benefit of passersby, friends and family.
You can find photos of last week’s concert in the Musicians section of the CCO website, ccorchestra.org,
When: Every Sunday to August 14, inclusive, 2:00 to 4:00, weather permitting
Where: Allan Gardens Park, in the shade near the playground, south of Jarvis and Carlton
Format: Rehearsal from 2:00 to 3:00; informal concerts 3:00 to 4:00, featuring soloists or small ensembles of CCO musicians

Please print out the music for your instrument and bring it to the performance. Selecting music over the summer will be an ongoing process, so bookmark the page to keep up-to-date with pieces as they are added. This week, we will be playing Vivaldi’s Spring, and will begin rehearsing Mozart’s Quintet for clarinet and strings for later performance.
