1. TWO ZOOM INVITATIONS, TONIGHT AND TOMORROW

2. PEOPLE, POWER AND THE PARK

This Festival runs in Allan Gardens from this Thursday through Sunday. The CCO is supplying the musical backdrop for the Festival on Sunday September 25, 1:00 to 4:00pm. The Park will be full of Indigenous ceremonies, poets, art installations, storytelling, a craft market, community information table - and us! All welcome.

3. LINKS TO MUSIC FOR DECEMBER 10 CONCERT

Upcoming rehearsals will concentrate on the programme for our concert, "Holiday Cornucopia", December 10, 2022, Rosedale United Church.

Musicians are expected to bring their own music to rehearsals, where it is publicly available. Relevant links to the December 10 concert:

Sunday September 25, 2022: Festival in Allan Gardens Park, CCO Performance plus a CCO information table in front of the Conservatory, 1:00 to 4:00pm Monday October 3, 2022: Annual General Meeting for the first hour of the rehearsal. Members can participate and vote in person or by Zoom. Friday December 9, 2022: Dress rehearsal Saturday December 10, 2022: Concert, “Holiday Cornucopia” (premier of “Journeys, for Angela Swan” by Andrew McClure). Rosedale United Church. Monday January 9, 2023: Rehearsals resume Mondays, 8:00 to 10:00pm Friday March 24, 2023: Dress Rehearsal Saturday March 25, 2023: Concert (premier of “A Stone’s Throw” by Justin Peters) Friday June 9, 2023: Dress Rehearsal Saturday June 10, 2023: Concert (Trumpet Concerto by composer Betsy Raum).
